1.Brand You : Build it and they will come

Freedom : Nick Horton: The Fourth Space’s Philosophy

What would you do with your life if money wasn’t a concern? Of course, the reality is, money does matter. We all have to pay bills. And many of us have responsibilities way beyond paying these monthly invoices. Many of us would love to make money from our passions, but feel it is an impossible dream. This is where we can help by creating your freedom: Brand You

Asking the Right Questions

So back to the original question: What if money didn’t matter? What would you do with your life? The traditional route for many centuries has been based on the industrial revolution theory that there is a need to educate workers. Those workers then tried to select a career based on their given skill-set and market needs. The rest of this blog could focus on whether rewarding intellect as a narrow definition of intelligence is a rewarding and fulfilling way of spending our short time on planet Earth, but instead, let’s focus on the assumption that you can make a living from your passion.

People who are really happy with their lives can answer the following five questions:

  1. Who are you?
  2. What do you do? What do you practice? What is your passion?
  3. Who do you do it for?
  4. What do they need?
  5. And what do they get out of it? How do they change as a result?

If you can answer these five questions, you are smarter than 80% of Harvard graduates, according to Adam Leipzig. He himself is a Harvard graduate and found that only 20% of his friends were genuinely happy with their lives. He surmised that this was because they could not answer those five important questions.

Brand You Freedom

Where there’s a passion, there is a crowd. There will always be somebody interested in what you do.

You are the master of your passion; you are unique and irreplaceable, as your passion is based on your personal experiences of life.

We would like to encourage you to explore that unique self; the experiences that are exclusive to your purpose. When you become a master of your passion, take a look again at the five questions above and then work at turning that into a brand and visual strategy that connects you to the audience you most want to work with.

When you are authentic about your greatest assets and you communicate it in an honest and engaging way, you will find the last three questions are easier to answer because:

  1. You will attract those who are interested in you
  2. You will then be able to work out what they need and what they get out of it.

This will give you the freedom to lead a fulfilling life and make a positive impact on the world through Brand You.
